Amenities Offered to Students at Faik Hızıroğlu Guest House

Hızıroğlu Foundation built Faik Hızıroğlu Guest House in 1994 and donated fully furnished building to METU. With a total capacity of 184 beds, currently serves for male students. The building has 46 quadruple rooms.

Each room contains 2 bunk beds and bedside lamps, a desk, a bookshelf, a closet, a carpet, a mini fridge and free internet connections.
In all the rooms, there are land phones, with the lines linked to the switchboard
On all floors, there are showers and toilets.
On each floor There is a self-catering kitchen with cookers and microwave ovens.
On each floor, there is a study room
Downstairs, there is a drawing&design room, a TV lounge 1 drawing and design room.
On the ground floor, there is a canteen serving food and drinks to students.
The dormitory has central heating and hot water is provided 24 hours a day.
There is laundry room available for common use. Students can use the dryers, drying racks, and irons free of charge
