Amenities Offered to Students at Dormitory 1

Dormitory 1, which opened in 1965, currently serves for female students. With a total capacity of 380 beds, 308 undergraduate and 72 graduate students are accommodated

• The rooms in the dormitory are in groups of 4, with each room occupied by 2 students.

• All the rooms have beds with bases and bedside lamps.

• Each room contains a desk, 2 closets, wall sockets and free internet connections.

• In each group of rooms, there is a bathroom, a toilet, a shoe cabinet, and 2 mini fridges.   

• The dormitory has central heating and hot water is provided 24 hours a day.

• In all the rooms, there are land phones, with the lines open to incoming calls,

• There are 2 self-catering kitchens with cookers and microwave ovens.

• There is a study room on the ground floor and drawing&design room on the top floor.

• The dormitory has a 24-hour open computer lab with internet access.

• On the ground floor, there is a canteen.

• There is laundry room available for common use. Students can use the dryers, drying racks, and irons free of charge.
